STORM ALI - Travel Disruptions

Tuesday 18th September 2018 :-

The Met Office has warned that the UK’s first named weather system of the season – Storm Ali – is set to bring ‘very strong winds’ to Northern Ireland, Scotland, northern England and part of north Wales on Wednesday (19 September 2018), bringing with it the threat of travel disruption. With gusts of 65-75 mph and up to 80 mph forecast in coastal regions and high ground.

Train, plane and ferry cancellations are possible on Wednesday. All airline passengers should check the status of their flight via the Airlines website or by contacting ourselves. We have yet to have any details of any cancellations or changes to schedules. We expect to have this information closer to the time.
